Organ - Journal für die Orgelup-to-date quarterly journal for organ experts and lovers of organ music ORGAN - Journal für die Orgel is an upmarket specialist magazine for organ experts and lovers of organ music. The magazine has been published four times a year (optionally with CD) since 1998, since 2012 four-colour, and is edited by Wolfram Adolph, Protestant theologian and owner of the organ label IFO.
Each issue deals with the pipe organ in numerous facets. Regular sections contain portraits and interviews, articles on instruments, organ building, organ aesthetics and repertoire, as well as on the theory and practice of interpretation. The Reviews section contains reviews of CDs, DVDs, books and scores. In addition, the magazine provides the latest information on events featuring the organ, competitions and master classes.
