The first part of the cycle "Re-Visionen" was first titled "Re-Arrangements" [Bach, Beethoven, Webern, Wagner, Schubert]. As to Dieter Schnebel, the task would be to drill through to layers which we are only now in a position to appreciate. The pieces of the second part refer to particular moments in the music of Mahler, Mozart, Verdi and Schumann. The moments are appearances, where something known is suddenly and almost magically encountered.
